There's a theme that consistently cycles through the Christian community, expressing the longing of our hearts: "Revival". Songs and teachings reverberate out of our
hunger for a more significant relationship with God. We seek a
place where superficiality can be overcome, distractions set
aside, and the mundane set afire. We seek a place where we can seriously
follow and know the Lord Jesus Christ.
In the meantime, we sigh, and find ourselves returning to plod along the familiar path - waiting for
God's Spirit to move. Is it possible that the need for 'revival' is
being confused with the need for 'repentance'?"
