As is our Human Nature, we most often come to God with the desire for Him to change the external situations that we find ourselves in. Sometimes the reason is simply because we long to see His activity in our life for proof of His existence and proof of our salvation. However, despite the reason for which we seek God, God came to us as Jesus Christ for the purpose of changing our internal situation so that we may be reconciled to Him. While He pursues this in our life through seeking our obedience, His desire is to form us from the inside-out into the image of His Son. Do our goals with God conflict in such a way with His goals for us that we cannot even see the opportunities that He gives for the true fulfillment of our needs?
